Enfield, Connecticut, January 9, 2009 - Precision Camera and Best Buy are once again serving as presenting sponsors for the 2009 Blackwoods Never Surrender Blizzard Tour to help raise money and increase awareness of ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Over 30,000 Americans suffer from ALS at any given time. Precision Camera is committed to "Never Surrender," and supports the fight to find a cure for ALS!

This year's Black Woods Never Surrender Blizzard Tour will take place February 4th through February 7th, 2009. Sponsored participants, such as Precision Camera will ride snowmobiles over 380 miles in three days in an effort to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the cause. Last year, the Never Surrender Blizzard Tour raised over $500,000 for ALS research. A lofty goal of $550,000 has been set for this year's Never Surrender Blizzard Tour. Precision Camera's goal is to raise more than $15,000 this year with the support of the Precision Camera team and its partners.

By giving to this noble cause, a donor is supporting nationally sponsored research efforts to find a cause and cure for this crippling and fatal disease.

Precision Camera's Charitable Campaign Manager, explains:
“Precision Camera is proud to once again help in the fight for a cause and cure of this debilitating disease. By donating to the Blizzard Tour and the ALS Association, together we can make the lives of those affected brighter and help research efforts to lead the fight against ALS.”
